Abstract
Fundus-tracked perimetry, also called microperimetry, is increasingly used as an outcome measure in retinal gene therapy clinical trials. By combining static automated perimetry and real-time fundus tracking, fundus-tracked perimetry enables accurate assessment of visual sensitivity in the central retina to precisely identify areas of impaired or preserved function. This chapter describes the clinical methods used to perform fundus-tracked perimetry and strategies to improve the reliability of fundus-tracked perimetry measurements, including operator training, patient preparation, and test monitoring.Source: PubMed (PMID: 42020912)View Original on PubMed
