Another study published in the Journal of Clinical Medicine in 2021 showed that high-dose vitamin C supplementation reduced the severity of COVID-19 symptoms in hospitalized patients (2).

Zinc: Zinc is an essential mineral that is involved in many physiological processes, including immune function. Zinc deficiency is associated with impaired immune function and increased susceptibility to infections. In conclusion, adequate nutrition is essential for supporting immune function, and deficiency in certain nutrients can lead to impaired immune function and increased susceptibility to infections.
