Sabina Maharjan
Sabina, a distinguished Clinical Psychologist, achieved distinction in M.Phil. Clinical Psychology from Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Institute Of Medicine, in 2020. Her commitment to excellence is evident in her MA in Psychology from Trichandra Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University (2016), and BSc in Nursing from C.M.R College of Nursing, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore (2013).
As a Clinical Coordinator at TPO Nepal, she excels in psychological assessments and psychotherapy, such as cognitive therapy and dialectical, behavioural therapy focusing on children and adolescents. Currently, she serves as an MHPSS Officer in the Helping Survivors Heal (HSH) Project.
Sabina actively contributes to mental health initiatives in Kathmandu as a Clinical Focal Person and Project Coordinator for a UNHCR/LWF-funded project. Previously, in a UNICEF-funded project (July 2021 to March 2023), she provided clinical supervision, training, and promoted mental health through sensitization programs.
Engaging in academia, Sabina lectures on counseling psychology, holding a rich research background with publications in Health Science Reports Journal.
In essence Sabina is a dynamic force in Clinical Psychology, contributing significantly to education, practice, involvement, and research in the mental health landscape.
