Prof. Dr Kishor Adhikari

Prof. Dr. Kishor Adhikari is a highly accomplished scholar and educator specializing in public health, with a focus on epidemiology and non-communicable diseases. He earned his Ph.D. in Public Health from the Faculty of Health Sciences at Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology, and Sciences (formerly AAI-DU) in India.
Currently serving as a Professor and Head of the MPH Program at Chitwan Medical College and Teaching Hospital in Nepal, Dr. Adhikari provides leadership and strategic direction to the program. His responsibilities include curriculum development, student mentorship, and fostering academic excellence. With extensive experience in academia, he has held various teaching and leadership roles at prestigious institutions.
Dr. Adhikari has made significant contributions to public health research, with a focus on diverse topics such as osteoporosis, family planning, and psychological distress. His work spans numerous peer-reviewed articles and research projects, often led by him as a team leader.
